Bus World Australia

Terms and conditions

These terms apply to quotes, bookings and services provided by Bus World Australia. Please read them before you book.

1. Quotes

A quote is based on the details you give us, including dates, times, addresses, passenger numbers and luggage. If those details change, the price may change. Quotes are valid for the period shown on the quote. Tolls, parking and any airport access charges are included or listed as set out in your quote.

2. Bookings and confirmation

A booking request sent through our website gives you a booking ID straight away. A booking is only confirmed once our office has checked it and sent you a written confirmation. Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

3. Payment

Payment terms, including due dates and accepted payment methods, are set out in your quote and confirmation. Approved schools and organisations may be offered account terms.

4. Changes and cancellations

Tell us about any change as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they depend on vehicle and driver availability and may change the price. Cancellation terms are set out in your quote and confirmation.

5. Timing, flights and delays

Give us accurate addresses, times and, for airport transfers, flight numbers. If your flight is delayed, rescheduled or moved to another terminal or airport, let us know as soon as you can. We will try to adjust the service, but we cannot guarantee availability for large changes at short notice, and extra waiting time or a changed service may be charged.

6. Passengers

All passengers must wear a seatbelt where one is fitted, as required by NSW road rules. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in our vehicles. Alcohol is not permitted unless agreed in writing. The driver may refuse to carry, or ask to leave, any passenger who is behaving in a way that is unsafe or offensive. Children must travel with a responsible adult unless agreed otherwise.

7. Luggage

Tell us about your luggage when you book, including oversized items such as sports equipment, prams, instruments or surfboards. We may not be able to carry luggage that was not declared. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings, and items left in a vehicle are held for a limited time.

8. Cleaning and damage

Cleaning or repair costs caused by passengers, including soiling, may be charged to the person who made the booking.

9. Vehicles

We will supply a vehicle suited to the booked group. If a vehicle becomes unavailable, we may provide a suitable replacement.

10. Your rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
